How the Plan Works

HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin and is a glycoprotein hormone. This hormone is produced in pregnant women. This hormone will take fat from the mother to give nourishment to the fetus. Research has shown that taking this hormone can help a person lose 1-2 pounds of pure fat per day without taking away from nourishment or muscle. When this hormone is taken in small amounts with a very low calorie diet, it causes the hypothalamus to use up stored body fat. This results in the body becoming its own fat burning machine. This type of diet was used back in the 1950s and 1960s and is only recently coming to light again.
